Is there a public toilet that is also open out of season?

There are two public toilets that are open all year round. One toilet facility is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach (An der Promenade), the other on the main street next to the tourist office (Hauptstraße 4).

Do I need to reserve tickets?

Reservation of tickets is not possible. Since the PODOBEACH lido is very spacious, you will certainly get your ticket at one of the four lido cash desks - even if it is very busy.

Can I pay with ATM/credit card at the lido cash desk?

Yes, ATM cards and credit cards are accepted at all checkouts.

Is there an ATM at the lido?

No. From May to mid-November you can withdraw money from the ATM at Seetraße 81. This is only a few minutes' walk from the lido.

The ATM in the Raiffeisenbank (Seestraße 35) is open all year round.

Is the entrance fee to the PODOplay area extra?

No, you pay only once for the entrance and can use all areas with the ticket. You can find the prices here.

How long is the PODOBEACH lido open?

In principle, the lido is open from 8 am to 10 pm. With a surf season ticket, however, you can get in as early as 6 am.
Collection is daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the off-season and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the high season.

How do I benefit from the Burgenland Card?

With the Burgenland Card, you have free entry to the PODOBEACH lido and can take part in yoga, fitness and kickboxing classes.

Are there deck chairs for rent?

Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for rent at two locations:

Sunbathing lawn to the right of the entrance E2/PODOplay
Daily fee for two deckchairs and one parasol 14 Euro (deposit 20 Euro); contact point cash desk E2

Sunbathing lawn between the leisure park and PODOplay
Daily fee 16 euros (deposit 4 euros); contact point leisure park

Are dogs allowed?

Pets are prohibited in the entire PODOBEACH lido. Assistance dogs are excluded. Prerequisite for taking them is a note in the disabled passport and a valid assistance dog owner's card.

Is there a lost and found office?

If you have forgotten personal belongings in the lido, contact the cashier E2/PODOplay on 02177/2227202.

Items left lying around will be taken to the lost and found office of the Podersdorf am See municipality by our staff. The lost property office can be reached during the opening hours of the municipality (Mon-Thu: 7.30-12.00 and 13-16.30; Fri: 7.30-13.00): 02177/2291.

Can I travel by public transport?

Yes, there are hourly trains from Vienna Central Station to Lake Neusiedl. In 40 minutes you are in Neusiedl am See, the bus line 290 takes you to Podersdorf am See in 20 minutes. From the bus stop "Strandplatz" you can reach the PODOBEACH lido in 2 minutes.
