Is there a public toilet that is open off-season?

There are two public toilets that are open year-round. One facility is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach (An der Promenade), and the other is on the main road next to the tourist office (Hauptstraße 4).

Do I need to reserve tickets?

Reserving tickets is not possible. Since the PODOBEACH beach is very spacious, you will certainly be able to get your ticket at one of the four beach ticket counters, even when it is busy.

Can I pay with a debit/credit card at the beach entrance?

Yes, debit cards and credit cards are accepted at all ticket counters.

Is there an ATM at the beach?

No. From May to mid-November, you can withdraw money from the ATM at Seestraße 81. It is just a few minutes' walk from the beach.

The ATM at the Raiffeisenbank (Seestraße 35) is open all year round.

Is the entrance to the family adventure world PODOplay to be paid separately?

No, you only pay for admission once and can use all areas with the ticket. You can find the prices here.

What are the opening hours of the PODOBEACH beach?

Basically, the lido is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. However, with an annual pass, you can enter from 6 a.m.
Collection is daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the low season and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the high season.

What are the benefits of the Burgenland Card?

With the Burgenland Card, you have free entry to the PODOBEACH lido and can participate in the yoga, fitness, and kickboxing classes.

Are there deck chairs for rent?

Deck chairs and parasols can be rented at two locations:

Lawn to the right of the E2/PODOplay entrance
Daily fee for two sun loungers and one parasol 16 euros; point of contact cash desk E2

Lawn between the leisure park and PODOplay
Daily fee 16 euros (deposit 4 euros); point of contact leisure park

Are dogs allowed?

Pets are prohibited throughout the entire PODOBEACH area. Excluded from this are assistance dogs. The requirement for entry is a note in the disability pass and a valid assistance dog holder ID.

Is there a lost and found office?

If you have forgotten personal items at the lido, please contact the cash desk E2/PODOplay at the number 02177/2227202.

Left-behind items are taken by our staff to the lost property office of the Podersdorf am See municipality. The lost property office can be reached during municipal opening hours (Mon-Thu: 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Fri: 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.): 02177/2291.

Can I travel by public transport?

Yes, trains from Vienna Central Station run hourly to Lake Neusiedl. In 40 minutes you are in Neusiedl am See, and the bus line 290 takes you to Podersdorf am See in 20 minutes. From the "Strandplatz" stop, you can reach the PODOBEACH beach in 2 minutes.
