Is there a public toilet that is also open out of season?

There are two public toilets that are open year-round. One toilet facility is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach (An der Promenade), the other on the main road next to the tourist office (Hauptstraße 4).

Are there accessible toilets on the beach?

Accessible toilets for people with disabilities are located at the Kunststube (side entrance), on the pier near the Schifffahrt Knoll (access via Sunsetbar building), at the market square (open only on Tuesdays during market hours and on weekends), and at entrance E8. The toilet facilities are open throughout the summer.

Do I have to reserve tickets?

Ticket reservations are not possible. Since the PODOBEACH lido is very spacious, you are guaranteed to get your ticket at one of the four lido ticket offices, even when it is busy.

Can I pay with a debit/credit card at the lido ticket office?

Yes, debit and credit cards are accepted at all ticket offices.

Is there an ATM at the lido?

No. From May to mid-November, you can withdraw money from the ATM at Seestraße 81. This is just a few minutes' walk from the lido.

The ATM at the Raiffeisenbank (Seestraße 35) is open all year round.

Do I have to pay extra for admission to the PODOplay family adventure world?

No, you only pay once for admission and can use all areas with the ticket. You can find the prices here.

How long is the PODOBEACH lido open?

Generally, the lido is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. However, with an annual pass, you can enter from 6 a.m.
Collection is daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the pre- and post-season, and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the high season.

What is the benefit of the Burgenland Card?

With the Burgenland Card, you get free admission to the PODOBEACH lido and can participate in yoga, fitness, and kickboxing classes.

Are there deckchairs available for rent?

Deckchairs and parasols can be rented at two locations:

Lawn to the right of entrance E2/PODOplay
Daily fee for two deckchairs and one parasol 16 euros; Contact point ticket office E2

Lawn between the leisure park and PODOplay
Daily fee 16 euros (deposit 4 euros); Contact point leisure park

Are dogs allowed?

Pets are prohibited throughout the entire PODOBEACH lido. Assistance dogs are exempt. A prerequisite for entry is an annotation in the disability pass and a valid assistance dog holder ID.

Is there a lost property office?

If you have forgotten personal items at the lido, please contact the E2/PODOplay ticket office at the number 02177/2227202.

Left-behind items are taken by our staff to the lost property office of the municipality of Podersdorf am See. The lost property office can be reached during municipal opening hours (Mon-Thu: 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Fri: 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.): 02177/2291.

Can I travel there by public transport?

Yes, trains run hourly from Vienna Central Station to Lake Neusiedl. You will reach Neusiedl am See in 40 minutes, and the bus line 290 will take you to Podersdorf am See in 20 minutes. From the "Strandplatz" bus stop, you can reach the PODOBEACH lido in 2 minutes.
