A sea voyage is fun, a sea voyage is beautiful. And for us here at Lake Neusiedl, a boat tour is, above all, one thing: impressive. Who can claim to have experienced the largest steppe lake in Central Europe in all its splendor and diversity from the water?
A staggering 350 different bird species have chosen the lake and its reed belt in the Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park as their (part-time) home. From the boat, impressive natural spectacles can be observed in these untouched habitats from up close. For nature lovers, the Steppe Lake Round Trip to the "Hölle" nature reserve is highly recommended.
Those less interested in colorful plumage but more in culinary delights should best purchase a ticket for a sunset cruise including a wine tasting or for the lake cruise with coffee, cake, and a barbecue.
Cyclists circling the lake are also always happy to see the ferry. If you run out of steam halfway, you can simply take the bicycle ferry from Schifffahrt Knoll straight across the lake from Podersdorf to Rust.
