Every movement counts: Stefan Dvorak performs "Rolla Rolla" in Podersdorf am See
A board on a roller, nothing but balance and concentration beneath it. Centimeters decide whether a trick succeeds or not. High above the ground, Stefan Dvorak from Burgenland presents "Rolla Rolla," a performance where every move must be precise. The audience follows every movement β often with held breath.
On Saturday, August 1st, the 20-year-old exceptional circus artist can be seen at 8:00 PM at the Platz der Champions in Podersdorf am See. With this very performance, he won the Silver Clown in the "Next Generation" category at the prestigious International Circus Festival in Monte-Carlo, as well as two special prizes.
"Rolla Rolla" thrives on precision, body control, and absolute concentration. As Stefan Dvorak builds higher and higher and brings balance to a new level, the tension in the audience grows with every figure. Every step must be perfect, every movement is controlled β a single moment of carelessness can change the entire balance.
The roughly ten-minute show is part of SHOW TIME, the free street art series in Podersdorf am See. The Platz der Champions becomes a stage for international artists. Stefan Dvorak's performance is one of the most extraordinary shows in the series this summer.
